Companies which are not eligible for our Group Rating Programs due to high experience are encouraged to participate in this incentive program which provides for a 25% discount from workers' compensation premiums over a three year period.

 

Professional Risk Management, Inc. assists our penalty rated clients in applying for this program and our experienced, expert staff will work with you to control costs, which is the key to reducing your workers' compensation.

 

To be eligible for this program an employer must:

 

 
Be penalty rated, effective July 1 (January 1 for public employers).
Not be participating in either Group or Retrospective Rating Programs in the same policy year.
Be current on all premiums due BWC.
Be in active status the first day of the policy year.
Not have excessive lapses in coverage.

 

Employers participating in this program must:

 
Implement and comply with the BWC's 10-Step Business Plan.
Allow BWC access to their job sites to review and assist employers' progress with the program.
Submit evidence of implementation and progress of accident reduction.
Complete the program within three consecutive years.
